The investor appetite for private equity investment in Asia continues to grow as the region rebounds from the global financial crisis, while Western markets are dogged by volatility and uncertainty. In line with this, fundraising and investment activity have scaled-up dramatically.

In this article, Claudia Zeisberger, Criticaleye Thought Leader and Academic Co-Director of the Global Private Equity Initiative at INSEAD, explains why the appetite for deals in Asia, driven primarily by China and India, is only set to grow in the years ahead.
