Enterprise UK - Will London ever rival Silicon Valley?

While London is home to thousands of new companies founded by industrious, self-starting and visionary entrepreneurs, Palo Alto has produced many of the most successful entrepreneurs of the past 30 years. The Valley accounts for one in three of every venture capital dollar spent in the US and it has contributed to the creation of a billion dollar turnover business every year since 1974. In this article, Criticaleye asks its Community of Members, including Chris Allner, Matthew Blagg, Steve Cooper, Bernard Cragg, Kelvin Harrison, Richard Moross, Kristian Segerstrale, Tim Smit, Andrew Mearns Spragg, Doug Richard and Mark Weber for their thoughts on whether the UK can ever produce a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity to rival Silicon Valley.
