Leslie is currently Chair of Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, a global B2B information services business and Non-executive Director at HSBC UK. He is also a NED and Board Chair at The Greencore Group, a leading manufacture of convenience foods.
Previously, he was Chair of Robert Walters plc, SIG plc and Weener Plastics (backed by 3i plc, the private equity investor), Deputy Chair of Crest Nicholson plc, Senior Independent Director at DCC plc and Non-executive Director on the boards at Aviva plc, Cape plc, Aegis plc and La Seda de Barcelona SA. He was CEO of Rexam plc from January 2007 to December 2009. Before that, he was Executive Vice President of Global Retail at Royal Dutch Shell Group. Before joining Shell he was the Chief Executive of United Biscuits plc.
Leslie was born and educated in France. He graduated from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales in 1979 and started his career with the Danone Group before joining Cadbury Schweppes in 1984. He has been living in London since 1994, and has also lived and worked in a number of other countries.
