After a decade in Consulting - mostly at PwC - and another in the automotive industry at Faurecia, in various operational and programme management roles, Alexander Laugier-Werth joined Vesuvius in 2008 as Lean Director. He thereafter held positions as VP of Operations for the Foundry Business Unit and President of the Digital Services Business Unit. He has since held on the position of VP of HSE and Quality for the Group in 2018. In addition to this role, he designed, launched and has been leading the implementation of Vesuvius’ sustainability strategy.
Throughout his career, Alexander has worked in the United States, Mexico, Israel, Germany, France and Belgium. With an experience deeply rooted in operations, Alexander has - in his very diverse career - led many company transformation projects, working across cultures and functions, while always focusing on value creation and successful execution.
