Simon was appointed to his current role in January 2007. He is responsible for IS and Logistics strategy and service delivery to Sony European sales and marketing operations. Originally from a finance background (ACMA), Simon has held a number of positions covering finance and business planning within Sony European businesses, including: Broadcast & Professional, Computer Peripherals & Components, Semiconductors, Recording Media, e-business and Operations. In recent years Simon was closely involved with Sony Europe's change management and restructuring programs and took responsibility for European IS in 2005.

Living in Oxford, Simon enjoys spending time with his family and has interests in the visual arts, running and electronic music.
