Diana is Group HRD at Bunzl, the £9bn turnover, FTSE 100, multinational distribution and outsourcing company. Diana’s main focus at Bunzl, which is very decentralised, is talent, leadership, engagement and the development of an effective, global team of HR professionals to support the business. She also has executive responsibility for the creation and delivery of a sustainability strategy for the Group.
She was formerly Group HRD at Land Securities Group (Landsec) for five years, where she was also a member of the ExCo. At Landsec, Diana led the leadership team through a fundamental review of the organisational structure which resulted in the redesign of the organisation at Group and business unit level as well as delivering a new HR strategy.
Prior to this, she spent 10 years at Sainsbury’s, rising to Director of HR, Corporate. She also held senior consultancy roles at Accenture, having started her HR career in Food Manufacturing and Retail with The John Lewis Partnership. Throughout her career, Diana has gained extensive experience in organisational change, culture, reward strategy and talent.
She is a non-executive Board member of HM Land Registry and is also a member of the Business Leaders’ Council of TeachFirst, the educational charity. In her spare time, Diana enjoys travelling walking and cycling with her husband and three children, keeping fit and playing the clarinet when time allows.
