Vanda has over 30 years' experience at senior level across a range of industry sectors in the UK and internationally. She now serves as Non-executive Chair for Marshalls plc, Non-executive Chair of Yorkshire Water, Senior Independent Non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Bunzl plc and Non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration and CSR Committee at Manchester Airports Group. She is also a Board Member for Maggie’s Manchester, the cancer care drop-in centre.
 
From 2001 to 2004, Vanda was CEO of Blick plc, a FTSE-quoted support services group, where she doubled the market capitalisation prior to its sale to The Stanley Works Inc. From 2004 to 2006, she led a successful turnaround at Ultraframe plc.
 
Vanda was a graduate trainee with ICI plc and spent her early career in European marketing roles with GTE Inc and BET plc. She has a BA (Hons) in European Business Administration and a French Business diploma.
 
Vanda won the Sunday Times Award for ‘Non-Executive Director of the Year’ in 2018. In 2002, she was appointed an OBE for Services to Industry and to Exports.
