Devyani is an experienced independent non-executive director. She is RemCo Chair and Non-executive Director at NHS Supply Chain Coordination and Norman Broadbent Plc, and Independent Board Director at Forvis Mazars Group.
Prior to this, Devyani was an AI entrepreneur who raised an angel investment fund and set up an Innovation Hub around AI and the Future of Work. She concluded a succesful exit of the business to a consultancy in the Middle East.
During her executive career, Devyani was an international and multi-sector FTSE 30 Group CHRO and Board member, effectively leading diverse, multi-billion complex organisations through transformational change. She has had global roles in successful organisations across various industries, including with Citibank, AT&T, British Gas, Rolls Royce and BSI.
Having lived and worked in China, Singapore and Europe, as well as managed teams in the Americas and Middle East, she has a very international outlook.
Devyani has also been made a 'Fellow' at Chapter Zero (part of Cambridge University), whcih focuses on climate issues for Board directors.
Devyani is a well-known speaker at business events, focusing on the role of the Board in shaping culture, transformation, the future of work and AI/digitisation.
