Brian is an experienced Non-executive Director and Committee Chair. He is currently NED and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at FTSE 250 global medical products and technologies company, ConvaTec Group plc and NED at FTSE 100 plumbing and heating products distributor, Ferguson plc. He was previously NED and Chair of the Audit and Treasury Committee at FTSE 100 water and wastewater company, United Utilities Group plc.

As a FTSE 100 CFO in a global business for 13 years, he has devised and led business growth strategies, resulting in significant growth in shareholder value. Brian has extensive financial and international business experience, delivering both organic and inorganic growth and sustained shareholder returns over the long term.

Brian was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Bunzl plc from 2006 to 2019 and, prior to that, held a number of senior management Finance roles with Bunzl, including divisional Finance Director, Group Treasurer and Head of Internal Audit.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1988.
