Reimagining the Agenda

As we approach the halfway mark to the 2030 Agenda, CEOs remain committed to delivering the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, but some have sounded the alarm that more action and support is needed to achieve them. The core takeaways are as follows:

  • CEOs are navigating unprecedented uncertainty: 93% of CEOs are dealing with 10 or more simultaneous global challenges to their business
  • Sustainability has emerged as the core of resilience: 63% of CEOs state that they are launching new projects and services for sustainability
  • CEOs are stepping up advocation for sustainability: 98% of CEOs today believe that it is part of their role to make their business more sustainable, up from 83% in 2013
