Talent: Aligning the ‘How’ with the ‘Who’

Technology is just one component of being future-ready. This report by Cognizant explores the importance of harnessing technology to better invest in the workforce and talent.

Key takeaways include:

  • To realise the full return on value of technology investments, businesses need the skills required to implement, maintain and optimise those investments. However, according to findings, 46 percent of leaders do not fully believe that they have access to those skills.
  • Just over half of respondents said that talent/skills readiness and employee engagement, motivation and satisfaction are ‘very important’ in being a modern business today.
  • Underlying numbers continue to display that business leaders are not seeing the maximum benefit of investments in technology as the investment in their workforce is not on the same level.
