Sangeeta Desai is a seasoned investor, Board Director, and C-level executive with a 30-year career spanning global businesses across media, entertainment, and consumer sectors.
She is the founder of ElevateX, an investment platform in the human experience economy across EMEA, investing in and partnering with founder-led businesses in sport, wellness, active leisure, culture and entertainment.
She has served on the Boards of public and private companies across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Most recently, she straddled Board and executive roles as President and Board Director of Anton and prior to that served as non-executive director of OSN before stepping in as the CEO.
Her non-executive roles include Chair of Mopar Media, and Director of Boat Rocker Media, Ocean Outdoor and Aurora Acquisition Co (SPAC).
Prior to her Board career, Sangeeta was Group COO and CEO of Emerging Markets at Fremantle and COO of HIT Entertainment. She began her career as an investment banker at JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, before joining Apax Partners as a private equity investor. She holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School and a BS with Highest Honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
