Serena Lang is an experienced Chair and Non-executive Director. Currently, she is Chair of Trifast, an Independent NED on the Board of Henry Boot, where she also chairs the Responsible Business Committee and an Independent NED at Ainscough Crane Hire.

Previously, Serena was Chair of Eleco, where she helped transform the business. She acts as a trusted advisor, providing oversight on all aspects of strategy development, M&A, corporate governance, financial and commercial performance, and operational excellence.

Serena has chaired remuneration and nomination committees and also sits on audit committees. She is passionate about People and Sustainability and holds a Certificate in Sustainability from Cambridge University.

In her executive career, Serena delivered global strategic leadership, growth structuring and scalability and business transformation for major blue-chip companies, notably for engineering and IT corporation Invensys, global oil and gas firm BP, Cap Gemini and Ernst & Young (EY).

Her last executive role at Invesys included Global Vice President for New Business Models and Regional CEO for NW Europe and Africa. Prior to that, she was Global VP of Transformation for the lubricants division at BP and was an Executive Consultant at both Cap Gemini & EY.

Serena has a Master’s in Business Administration from Kingston University and a MA degree in Marketing and BA in Business Adminstration.
