An ever-changing and disruptive environment means that organisations must become more agile if they are to remain successful over the long term. In this report, Criticaleye Advisory Member, PA Consulting, identifies the key characteristics of agile businesses and how both leadership and team commitment can affect the speed at which it is implemented.
 
PA Consulting surveyed 500 leaders from large global organisations, across a range of sectors, that had a UK turnover of at least £750 million and 1,000 UK employees.
 
Key takeaways include:
  • While most leaders acknowledged that their organisations need to change, 60 percent admitted embedding agility was one of their greatest challenges, as it uproots standard working practices.
  • Agility will demand a broad range of skills and experiences, and therefore, organisations must be focused on bringing in expertise to fill potential skills gaps.
  • A strong, agile leader will be growth-driven, embrace continuous learning and always look to develop team goals.
