Criticaleye Partner Workday have put together a report in which 267 global CFOs have been surveyed to give an insight into how other CFOs and their teams can build a future-proof finance team.Key takeaways include:
- 99% of CFOs surveyed agreed that technology updates will become more important for attracting and retaining talent.
- When searching for new hires, 57% of CFOs are prioritising people who are familiar with leveraging AI and ML technologies – reflecting the need for AI/ML talent and a reduction in tedious, time-consuming tasks.
- According to finance underperformers, 63% of those surveyed responded that in 5 years they are looking to introduce data governance and management functions to their finance teams.
- 74% of CFOs at large enterprises rated their ability to generate insight as “excellent” as opposed to the 48% of CFOs at medium enterprises.
