Mohan is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at Bayes Business School.

Prior to joining Bayes Business School in August 2002 (formerly Cass), Mohan was Vice President at Gandiva, a software company offering enterprise solutions for managing business demands on the IT function. Previously, he worked as Director for enterprise e-business strategy at Scient and, prior to that, as Manager in the Supply Chain Practice at Accenture. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, commodity and specialty chemicals, petroleum products distribution, hospitality industry procurement and airlines.

Mohan received his Ph.D. in Management Science from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. Subsequently, he taught operations management at the University of Michigan Business School where his research in the trucking industry was funded by the Sloan Foundation. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and Applications (FIMA) and Fellow of the OR Society (FORS).

He has published numerous articles in many journals, including Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review and Interfaces and Supply Chain Management Review. His academic publications have appeared in Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management and other journals.
